Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 2026. These terms govern the relationship between Snoh Works and our clients.
1.Business identification
Snoh Works is a web design studio operating in Ontario, Canada. You can reach us at snohweb@gmail.com. These Terms apply to all services, proposals, and contracts entered into with Snoh Works.
2.Services description
Snoh Works offers website design and development, redesigns, search engine optimization (SEO), ongoing care plans, and related digital services. The final scope, deliverables, and timeline of any engagement are confirmed in a separate project agreement or written proposal signed by both parties.
3.Payment terms
Unless otherwise stated in your project agreement, a 50% non-refundable deposit is required to reserve your project start date. The remaining balance is due upon project completion and prior to final handoff. We accept e-transfer and major credit cards via invoice.
Invoices are due within 14 days of issuance. Late payments may incur a 2% monthly interest charge and may pause active work until the account is settled.
4.Project process & client responsibilities
Project timelines are good-faith estimates, not guarantees. Client delays — including late delivery of content, feedback, approvals, or third-party access — may push the project schedule. We will communicate revised timelines as soon as a delay is identified.
Clients are responsible for providing accurate information, copy, brand assets, and timely feedback throughout the engagement.
5.Revisions & scope
Each project includes a defined number of revision rounds, specified in the project agreement. A "round of revisions" means a single, consolidated set of feedback delivered in writing.
Work that falls outside the agreed scope — including new pages, new features, or substantial design pivots — will be quoted separately and added to the project with written approval.
6.Intellectual property
Snoh Works retains ownership of all design files, code, and deliverables until final payment is received in full. Upon receipt of final payment, ownership of the final delivered assets transfers to the client.
Snoh Works retains the right to display the completed work in our portfolio and promotional materials unless the client requests otherwise in writing prior to project completion.
7.Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Snoh Works' total liability for any claim arising out of or related to our services is limited to the total amount paid by the client for the specific project giving rise to the claim.
Snoh Works is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to lost revenue, lost profits, or business interruption.
8.Cancellation & refunds
Either party may cancel a project in writing at any time. The deposit is non-refundable. Work completed up to the cancellation date will be billed at our standard hourly rate, and any overpayment will be refunded within 30 days.
9.Privacy & PIPEDA compliance
We comply with Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA). Information collected through our contact form is used solely to respond to your inquiry and is not sold or shared with third parties for marketing. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
10.CASL (anti-spam)
In compliance with Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL), we only send commercial electronic messages to individuals who have provided express or implied consent. When you check the consent box on our contact form, you provide express consent for us to contact you about your inquiry. You may unsubscribe or withdraw consent at any time by emailing snohweb@gmail.com.
11.Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any disputes arising from these Terms or our services will be resolved exclusively in the courts of Ontario, Canada.
12.Changes to terms
Snoh Works reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. The current version will always be posted at this URL with a "Last updated" date. Continued use of our site or services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
